WOLFE AND DURISH EARN CCSA PAIR OF THE WEEK HONORS

Tallahassee, Fla. – For the first time this season, a Florida State Beach Volleyball pairing has earned CCSA Pair of the Week honors.
Makenna Wolfe and Alexis Durish win their first Pair of the Week award as a duo. This also marks both Wolfe’s and Durish’s first CCSA honor for their careers and 18th overall for FSU. The duo went undefeated (5-0) at the March to May Tournament in Gulf Shores, Ala. with victories over No. 3 UCLA, No. 6 LSU, No. 10 Georgia State, No. 19 Tulane and No. 20 South Carolina pairs.
Wolfe and Durish won on four matches in straight sets against Bruins, Panthers, Green Waves and Gamecocks; posted a 22-20, 11-21, 15-9 victory for the second team point against the Tigers. The pair claimed the match point for the Seminoles against No. 19 Tulane (21-14, 21-13) and picked up the first team point against No. 20 South Carolina (21-13, 21-17).
