No. 8 Virginia Completes Sweep

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Virginia – Despite a three-hit day from freshman Titan Kamaka, Florida State dropped the series finale at No. 8 Virginia, 15-4, Sunday afternoon at Disharoon Park.
Virginia ran out to a 9-0 lead after scoring eight times in the bottom of the third inning.
Kamaka’s three hits were a career high, while Jaime Ferrer doubled to extend his hit streak to a career-long 15 games. Cam Smith hit his fifth home run of the season in the top of the eighth.

- Jamie Arnold made his sixth start of the season, tied with Jackson Baumeister for the team lead.
- James Tibbs III walked in the seventh inning, extending his on-base streak to 17 games. He has drawn 25 walks, 16 more than the next closest Seminole.
- Freshman Davion Hickson pitched the eighth inning, his first appearance as a Seminole. He struck out a batter and did not allow a run in 1.0 innings.
