CORAL GABLES, Florida – No. 23 Miami completed a three-game sweep of Florida State Sunday, beating the Seminoles 13-4 at Mark Light Field.

Florida State fell behind 4-0 after the second inning before Cam Smith cleared the bases with a three-run triple in the fourth inning. Smith tied the game when he came across to score on a wild pitch.

Miami immediately answered with back-to-back home runs from Zach Levenson and Blake Cyr against Jamie Arnold (1-4). The Canes added a run in the sixth on Levenson’s third hit and fourth RBI of the game.

Jaime Ferrer extended his hitting streak to 18 games, the longest for a Seminole in nearly 10 years. On defense, FSU turned four double plays, a season high.

  • Jaime Ferrer singled and scored a run, extending his hitting streak to a career-long 18 games. It is tied for the second-longest for a Nole over the past 10 seasons, and the longest since April 2014:

  • During his hitting streak, Ferrer is 29-for-75 (.387) with 12 runs, 14 RBI, six doubles, two home runs and four walks.

  • Colton Vincent was hit by a pitch for the fifth time this season, most on the team.
  • Freshman Cam Smith got FSU on the board with a three-run triple. It was his second of the year and FSU’s 11th, more than the past two seasons combined (7 in 2022, 3 in 2021). Smith’s three RBI tied a career high.
