Season Begins with Two Days at Morcom

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida State swimming and diving will begin the 2024-25 season with the All Florida Invitational on Friday, October 11, and a dual meet against Georgia Tech on Saturday, October 12 at the Morcom Aquatics Center.
The weekend will commence on Friday with the All Florida Invitational beginning at 2 p.m. ET. The women will host North Florida and West Florida. Due to Hurricane Milton's impact on the state, Florida Southern is unable to make the trip, and therefore the FSU men's team's season debut will be delayed a day.
On Saturday, Florida State welcomes ACC foe Georgia Tech to Tallahassee. The men's and women's teams from the Seminoles and Yellow Jackets will square off at 11 a.m. ET.
Admission is free for all fans both days at the Morcom Aquatics Center. Saturday is the team's annual Paint it Pink Meet. There will be a pink ribbon and koozie giveaway for early arriving fans on Saturday.

"We are really excited to get the season started," FSU head coach Neal Studd said. "We have some incredible newcomers, and I can't wait to see what they can do."
Florida State's men's team enters the new campaign ranked No. 18 in the CSCAA Preseason Poll, and the women are receiving votes. Last season, the men also ended the year at 18th in the national poll and checked in as high as No. 16. The women were receiving votes for much of 2023-24 and entered the top-25 at No. 23 in December.
Saturday's ACC matchup will see FSU's 18th-ranked men's team face a GT men's side that is receiving votes in the preseason poll.
The Seminoles are back at the Morcom Aquatics Center next weekend when they face No. 8/13 Georgia on Saturday, October 19. The team's complete schedule can be found at Seminoles.com (Men | Women).
