TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The No. 22/RV Florida State swimming and diving team welcomes No. 7/10 Georgia to the Morcom Aquatic Center on Saturday, October 18, at 11 a.m. ET.
It is the team's annual Seminole Heritage meet.
Admission will be free for all fans to the top-25 matchup at the Morcom Aquatic Center. The dual meet will be Florida State's last home competition of the 2024 calendar year. Following road trips to end 2024, the team will compete at home again early in 2025 before the postseason begins.
Live results can be found at Meet Mobile, and a live stream will be available on the Florida State Seminoles page on YouTube. Direct links and live updates from the pool can be found by following and connecting with the Seminoles on Twitter/X, Instagram and Facebook.
"We are looking forward to racing a very good Bulldog team," FSU head coach Neal Studd said. "It's a good chance for our athletes to step up against one of the top teams in the country."
The Seminole men's team is ranked No. 22 in October's CSCAA Coaches Poll, which was announced on October 17. The women are receiving votes and are one spot out of the top-25. In the latest poll, 10 ACC women's teams and nine men's squads are ranked or receiving votes.
FSU opened the 2024-25 season last weekend with two home meets. The women, who are 3-0 to begin the season, beat North Florida and West Florida on October 11 before a win over ACC foe Georgia Tech on October 12. The Seminoles won 15 of 16 events at the All Florida Invite to open the campaign. The following day against the Yellow Jackets, senior Maddy Huggins broke a school record and won multiple individual events to help her team to victory. Meanwhile, the Florida State men were edged by GT and are 0-1 on the young season.
Georgia comes to Tallahassee ranked No. 7 in the men's poll and No. 10 in the women's top-25. The UGA men are 1-0 and the women own a 2-0 mark in 2024. On October 11 in Columbia, South Carolina, the Bulldog women bested South Carolina and Vanderbilt and the men downed South Carolina.
Florida State will have the next two weekends off before returning to competition in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The Seminoles will face Alabama and LSU on November 8. The team's complete schedule can be found at Seminoles.com (Men | Women).
