Parra Romero and Bissett Travel To Georgia For ITA Conference Masters Championships

TALLAHASSEE – Juliana Parra Romero and Millie Bissett of the Florida State women's tennis team travel to Rome, Georgia, for the ITA Conference Masters Championship beginning Thursday.
The nation's 34th-ranked duo has five wins this fall, with two of them being ranked wins.
The pair won three matches and advanced to the main draw round of 16 at the ITA Women's All-American Championships. The duo defeated the 51st-ranked duo of Anet Koskel and Grace O'Donnell of Arkansas, Lindsay Zink and Susanna Maltby of North Carolina, and No. 23 Elza Tomase and Catherine Aulia of Tennessee.
Bissett and Parra Romero also secured two victories and advanced to the main draw quarterfinals at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships. The pair defeated Sofia Madrid and Ema Barianakova of Kennesaw State 8-1 and won 8-1 over Anja Draskovic and Oyinlomo Quandre of FIU in the round of 16.
