Noles to Compete in South Beach International Amateur

TALLAHASSEE – Florida State men's golf student-athletes Patrick McCann, Carson Brewer and Michael Mays will compete at the 2024 South Beach International Amateur, running from Dec. 19-22 in Miami Beach, Florida.
Mays will tee off at 8:46 a.m. at the Normandy Shores Golf Course on Thursday, and Brewer will follow at 8:55 a.m. McCann will tee off at 9:03 a.m.
On Friday, the competition will shift to the Miami Beach Golf Club. Mays will tee off at 11:19 a.m. followed by Brewer at 11:28 a.m. and McCann at 11:36 a.m.
The top 72 players plus ties from rounds one and two will compete through the weekend at the Miami Beach Golf Club.
All three Seminoles in the field competed during the 2024 portion of the season.
Brewer finished in the top 20 in three of his four starts, producing his highest finish at the East Lake Cup, where he placed 15th at 3-over par.
Mays played at the Hamptons Intercollegiate as an individual, finishing in the top 10. Mays shot 3-under par, 69 in the final round to finish even for ninth place.
In his only start, McCann finished tied for fourth place at the East Lake Cup at 3-under par in a round that included a hole-in-one. McCann also won his match against Tyler Sabo of Ohio State in match play, finishing 2 up.
