Albright Tied for 12th at Thomas Sharkey Tournament

STATESBORO, Ga. – Senior Gray Albright led the way for No. 12 Florida State Men's Golf on Saturday, shooting even par through two rounds at the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate held at the Georgia Southern University Golf Course in Statesboro, Ga.
Albright is tied for 12th, carding even 72s in each of his first two rounds played. Fellow senior James Tureskis made his collegiate debut by shooting 6-over (76-74) as he sits in a tie for 34th with one round left to play.
The final round of the individual tournament will be played on Sunday with tee times yet to be determined.
Albright's 34 on the back nine in his second round gave him a boost on Saturday, carding six birdies overall in back-to-back ones on holes 11 and 12. His lone blemish was a quintuple bogey on the par-3, seventh hole.
Tureskis recorded three birdies in his second round, shooting a 35 on the back nine.
South Carolina's Nathan Franks holds a five-shot lead at 10-under. The field consists of 79 golfers playing unattached to their teams.
