Noles Head to Gainesville for Jimmy Carnes Invite

TALLAHASSEE– The Florida State indoor track and field teams are set to compete at the Jimmy Carnes Invite in Gainesville, Florida on Friday January 17.
Following their performances at the Clemson Invitational, student-athletes Kyvon Tatham, Tyler Azcano and Micahi Danzy were named ACC Performers of the Week honors on Tuesday.
Tatham was named the Field Performer of the Week, while Azcano took home the Performer of the Week. Danzy collected his first ACC accolade after being named the Rookie of the Week.
Cooper Crowell debuted his season in the men's weight throw, placing third with a lifetime best of 18.38m (60-3¾), marking the seventh-farthest throw in program history.
Shenese Walker led the women's sprints, taking home the victory in the 60 with a collegiate lead of 7.20.
The men's weight throw will begin at 9:00 a.m. Live results will be available.
