TALLAHASSEE - Florida State volleyball outside hitters Iane Henke and Kyleene Filimaua both picked up AVCA Southeast Region honors on Tuesday morning. Henke earned First Team honors while Filimaua earned honorable mention.

Henke finished third all-time in FSU history in kills per set (4.43) and second all-time in FSU history in points per set (5.10). Those marks were also fourth in the ACC. Henke ended the season with with 425 kills, even after missing five matches during the middle of the season. Henke had a couple of the top individual performances in FSU history at some points during this season. In the four matches against North Florida, USF, South Carolina and Oklahoma, Henke tallied 15 or more kills in all four of those matches while hitting over .300 in all those matches. Henke was the first FSU player since Norisha Campbell in 2001 to accomplish that feat. Henke recorded 20 or more kills in four consecutive matches against Clemson, Georgia Tech, Cal and Virginia. Henke is the first player in program history to have 20 or more kills in four consecutive matches in the rally scoring era. Henke was also drafted by the Orlando Valkyries 24th overall in the MLV Draft.

Filimaua also put together one of the more productive seasons in school history. Filimaua posted 443 kills which is the eighth most in FSU history during the rally scoring era and her 4.35 points per set ranks ninth in school history. Her 443 kills is the most by a Seminole since Payton Caffrey in 2019. Filimaua did a little bit of everything as she recorded 13 double doubles and led the team with 42 aces. She also recorded 270 digs which was the second-most on the team.
