We are working diligently on the new lacrosse-only facility that will provide a best-in-class experience for our team and fans. The coaches and student-athletes have brought tremendous enthusiasm to our campus, and I can't wait for our Florida State and Tallahassee communities to experience with them all the 'firsts' that are to come."Michael Alford, Vice President/Director of Athletics

It’s a true honor to lead Seminole Lacrosse, and I can’t wait to see our players step onto the field in our new stadium, wearing that uniform for the first time. As a team, with the full support of every Seminole fan behind us, we’ll take the field with pride and anticipation. Our collective commitment to the process will pay off, and together, we will put in the hard work to uphold the standard of excellence that defines Florida State Athletics. The journey is the destination—and the best is yet to come!”Sara Tisdale, Head Coach

Starting this program from the ground up and being able to coach in that first game is such a surreal experience. We’re creating something bigger than ourselves, laying the foundation for the next generation of girls' lacrosse players. The support from the FSU athletic staff has been incredible from day one, and we couldn’t be doing this without them. I’m beyond excited to be part of something that will leave a lasting legacy at this University.”Megan Carney, Assistant Coach

“When I think about the excitement of being part of the Florida State women’s lacrosse team, I think about the honor it is to represent a school with so much pride and tradition. This university is more than just an institution. This school is family, and you see and feel that every time you step on campus. It is an honor to be a Seminole and represent a hard-working, passionate tribe, and that is something that you can take with you forever. I fill with excitement when I think about our first game on the field next year. To be surrounded by so many people that have put the time in to make this happen brings chills to me. Every day at practice, this thought always goes through my mind: ‘This school believes in us’ and that thought motivates me to want to make an impact. I hope with my time here that I can leave a legacy for girls coming in. I want this to be a program that people respect, and I hope that my number leaves a lasting impact from next year onward. I can’t wait to help sculpt and set the standard for this program, but more importantly, I am excited to be a part of something so special with such an amazing group of people. To end my career here is a dream, and I can’t wait to watch us excel in the ACC.”Gabby Cleveland, January 2025 Enrollee
