Lacrosse to Host No. 16 Duke on Senior Day

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State lacrosse team (3-9, 0-7 ACC) hosts No. 16 Duke (8-4, 4-2) at the Seminole Lacrosse Complex on Sunday for Senior Day.
The Seminoles continue conference play against the Blue Devils, who enter the matchup with consecutive wins over Virginia Tech and Elon.
Sophomore midfielder Meg Kenny extended her point streak to eight games in Florida State's last outing against Notre Dame, netting two goals. Kenny leads the team with 20 goals this season and also leads the Seminoles in both points and assists.
Florida State will lean on its defensive unit against the nation's 16th-ranked scoring offense. Senior defenders Erin Schaefer and Superia Clark have started every game this season, with Schaefer leading the team with 25 ground balls and while Clark leads the unit with 16 caused turnovers.
In goal, FSU has continued to split time between Julia Ward and Catrina Tobin, with both logging over 350 minutes this season. Ward leads the team with 46 saves and holds a .380 save percentage.
Opening draw is set for noon, with the game airing live on ACCNX. Live stats will be available on Seminoles.com.
A Senior Day ceremony will follow the game, recognizing 10 seniors: Kate Christos, Superia Clark, Gabby Cleveland, Jordan Conversano, Reilly Hunter, Katie McLean, Lola Mancuso, Marleigh Sanders, Erin Schaefer and Catrina Tobin.
