TALLAHASSEE - The Florida State women's lacrosse team will conclude its fall exhibition play on Saturday against Florida and Mercer at the Seminole Lacrosse Complex. The two scrimmages round out the Seminoles' five-game fall schedule.

The Seminoles will face the Gators at noon and take on the Bears at 4 p.m. Florida and Mercer will scrimmage at 2 p.m.

Florida State returns several key pieces from last season's inaugural squad, including junior midfielder Meg Kenny, junior attacker Summer Harrell and junior midfielder Lydia Ward. Kenny led the team in goals (30), assists (13) and points (43) last season, while Harrell finished second in each category with 26 goals, 11 assists and 37 points. Ward added 18 goals and eight assists.

Four transfers join the Seminoles ahead of the 2027 season, including fifth year attacker Anna Hackett (Elon), junior midfielder Claire Marosi (Northwestern), junior midfielder Ryann Frechette (Florida) and sophomore defender Sofia Herrera (Maryland).

The Seminoles began fall ball play on the road in Jacksonville, Florida on Oct. 3, where they faced Stetson and Jacksonville at the Rock Lacrosse Center. Planning to host another pair of matchups against Kennesaw State and Saint Leo the following weekend in Tallahassee, both meetings were cancelled due to the effects of Hurricane Isaias, which made landfall along the Florida Panhandle region in the early hours of Saturday morning. The team opted for a closed, intrasquad scrimmage in its place.

Florida State then traveled down to the Naimoli Family Complex in Tampa, Florida for a scrimmage with Tampa on Oct. 17, rounding out play on the road for the fall.

Admission to Saturday's games is free.
