Clanton Set for Valspar Championship

TALLAHASSEE
 – Florida State junior Luke Clanton is set to play in the 2025 Valspar Championship that will run from March 20-23 at the Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida.  FSU alums Vincent Norrman, John Pak and Cristobal Del Solar are also in the field.
 
After earning his PGA TOUR Card at the Cognizant Classic, Clanton will make his 13th PGA TOUR start on Thursday at 2:24 p.m. 
 
As the top-ranked amateur in the world, Clanton led the No. 20 Noles to victory at the Seminole Intercollegiate on March 11, taking home the individual crown after shooting 15-under, 195. It was his second victory this season after taking the Watersound Invitational.
 
Del Solar will tee off at 9:30 a.m. and Pak will go at 9:36 a.m. on Thursday. Del Solar will make his ninth PGA TOUR start, while Pak is set for his 21st.
 
This season, Pak has made two cuts, finishing 17th at the Mexico Open at VidantaWorld in February. Del Solar has made three cuts.

Norrman has made six of seven cuts this season and will make his 56th career PGA TOUR start on Thursday at 1:29 p.m.
 
On Friday, Norrman will lead the day off at 8:19 a.m., followed by Clanton at 9:14 a.m. Del Solar will go at 2:40 p.m. and Pak will start at 2:46 p.m.
 
Coverage will begin at 7:30 a.m. on ESPN+. Programming on the Golf Channel will begin at 2 p.m. and on Sirius XM at 12 p.m.
