Noles Set for 125th U.S.Open

TALLAHASSEE– Florida State rising junior Tyler Weaver along with alums Brooks Koepka and Daniel Berger will be among the 156 golfers competing at the 125th U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club in Pittsburgh, running from June 12-15.
Weaver will tee off for round one on Thursday at 2:31 p.m. from the 10th hole. Koepka will start at 1:07 p.m. from the first tee, followed by Berger at 1:47 p.m.
On Friday, Weaver will start at 8:46 a.m. at the first hole, with Koepka beginning at 7:18 off 10, followed by Berger at 8:02 a.m.
Coverage throughout the tournament can be found on NBC and USA Network. Streaming can be found on Peacock and on Sirius XM.
Weaver, who is ranked 28th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, earned one of the five qualifying spots up for grabs at the Piedmont Driving Club in Atlanta during Golf's Longest Day on June 2, Weaver finished tied for third at 11-under, one stroke above the cutline.
Florida State is one of eight schools that will field a current student-athlete at the U.S. Open.
The Newmarket, England native finished his sophomore season with six top 10 finishes, including a victory at the 2025 Cabo Collegiate. He averaged a 71.31 stroke average, while shooting a round low of 66, also at the Cabo Collegiate.
Weaver was the runner-up at the 2025 ACC Championship in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He also finished the season 2-1 in match play, while contributing six top 10 finishes.
Weaver added two points for Team International at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup that ran from June 5-7 at the Congraee Golf Club. Teaming up with fellow FSU women's All-American Lottie Woad, the duo added a point after winning the 18th hole in to defeat Anna Davis and Carson Bacha of the USA, 1Up.
Weaver added another point on Saturday after defeating Jackon Koivun 1Up. Weaver fell behind by two points after the eighth hole and tied the match back up on the 15th. Koivun knotted the match at the 16th, but Weaver made birdie on the 17th to retake the lead.
Team International won the Arnold Palmer Cup 35-25.
Weaver was a 2025 All-ACC selection after captures All-America honorable mention from the Golf Coaches Association of America and Golfweek.
