TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State cross country teams will be competing at the Southern Showcase hosted by Jacksonville State on Friday, September 12.

The meet will take place at John Hunt Cross Country Park, with the men's team slated to participate in the 8K race, which begins at 8:30 a.m. ET, while the women's team is competing in the 5k at 9:30 a.m. ET. Live timing will be available.

The Southern Showcase will serve as a preview for the Seminoles at the 2025 NCAA South Regional Championship later in the season. The John Hunt Park course is 10 meters wide, with a manicured grass surface and multiple spurred loops. This course is located on the south side of the park and accommodates all levels of teams. There are also around two miles of walking trails for all coaches and spectators to see the race.

The Seminoles will join a large field of competitors at Friday's meet, which will feature 50 teams on the men's side and 54 on the women's side. Florida State will be joined by several Atlantic Coast Conference foes, including Louisville, Georgia Tech, and Miami.
Eighteen runners are expected to compete for the Seminoles. Rylee Blade will make her collegiate debut on the women's side, while Margaret Bartlow, Nicole Dinan, Ansley Kelley, Ella Menke, Ella Pasko, Ava Povich, and Lindy White return to the lineup after opening their seasons two weeks ago.

The men's runners representing Florida State will be seniors Lucas Bouquot, Aniol Borràs and Zach Trotter; juniors Kaden Levings, Bernado Barnhart, sophomore Garrett Stickley; and freshmen Parker Adams, Aidan Ryan and Gino Palazzolo.
