TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida State swimming and diving team will host the annual Garnet & Gold Meet on Friday, September 19, at 3 p.m. ET at the Morcom Aquatics Center.
Admission will be free for all fans to the season-opening intersquad and to all of the team's home competitions in 2025-26.
"The Garnet & Gold meet is a great tradition to begin the year," FSU head coach Neal Studd said. "It's competitive, it's fun, and it's a great way for fans to see our team in action early on. We've been training hard, and now we get to go out and have some fun with it."
This spirited competition will follow the traditional 16-event format, with the addition of the 100 individual medley. Swimmers will compete in 100s and 200s of each stroke, as well as the 50, 500 and 1000 freestyles and the 200 individual medley. The meet will begin with the 200 medley relay and conclude with the 200 freestyle relay.
Diving will run simultaneously to swimming.
