FSU Women's Tennis Heads to Auburn for ITA Kickoff Weekend

TALLAHASSEE - The Florida State women's tennis team travels to Auburn, Alabama, this weekend for the 18th annual ITA Kickoff Weekend. FSU will begin the two-day tournament against Nevada at 4:00 pm ET on Saturday at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
The four-team regional will consist of the host school Auburn, Nevada, Florida State and Tulane. The winner of the regional will move on to the 14-team National Indoor Championships on February 6-10.
FSU will compete in ITA Kickoff Weekend for the 16th time in its 18-year history, advancing to the National Indoor Championships twice, most recently in 2020. Florida State will play Nevada for the first time in program history, with the winner awaiting the winner of Auburn and Tulane.
The Seminoles began the spring season with a 6-1 victory over USF. Millie Bissett and Eva Shaw picked up two victories in the match, earning a doubles victory on Court 1. Junior Laura Putz also claimed two victories, earning a win in both singles and doubles.
