Bigham, Weaver, Ready for Jones Cup

TALLAHASSEE -Â Florida State men's golfers Tyler Weaver and Jack Bigham will compete at the Jones Cup Invitational, taking place from Jan. 8-11at the Ocean Forest Golf Club in Sea Island, Georgia.
 The 54-hole tournament will start on Friday following practice rounds on Thursday.Â
Bigham will tee off for the first round on Friday at 10:10 a.m. from the 10th hole and Weaver will start at 10:50 a.m. from the first tee. Tee times for the second round will be posted following Friday's competition.Â
The invitation-only amateur field will include 23 of the top 50 golfers listed inside the World Amateur Golf Rankings, including No. 12 Weaver. Weaver is the third-highest ranked golfer in the field. Bigham enters the tournament ranked 91st.Â

Bigham advanced to a playoff at the tournament in 2025, finishing second behind his teammate Gray Albright. Both Bigham and Albright scored 212 after three rounds (73-68-71), finishing 4-under.Â

Tyler Weaver also competed last year at the Jones Cup Invitational, ending tied for 12th place. Weaver finished with a total score of 3-over par, 219. Weaver posted rounds of 75-74-70 to complete the tournament ending with a strong finish.
