Walker Qualifies for NCAA Finals

FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas – The Florida State track and field teams began the 2026 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship on Friday at the Randal Tyson Track, with Shenese Walker advancing to the finals in the 60-meters on Saturday, which will be held at 5:30 p.m. ET.
 
The ACC Women's MVP and three-time 60-meter champion, Walker qualified for Saturday's final after resetting her own school and conference record time of 7.07. Walker's new personal-best now stands as the NCAA lead and ties the 13th-fastest time in collegiate history.
 
Andre Korbmacher earned second-team All-American honors for the second straight year in the men's 60 hurdles, placing 12th overall with a time of 7.61.
