Women's Tennis Resumes ACC Play Against No. 9 NC State and Wake Forest

TALLAHASSEE - The Florida State women's tennis team (4-7, 0-2 ACC) heads to North Carolina to resume ACC play beginning Friday at 2 p.m. at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, against No. 9 NC State (9-4, 2-0). The weekend concludes at 11 a.m. at the Wake Forest Tennis Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, against No. 66 Wake Forest (7-6, 0-2).
The Seminoles are 27-9 against the Wolfpack since 1992. FSU earned a 5-2 victory its last time in Raleigh in 2024. Florida State is 25-22-1 against the Demon Deacons. FSU defeated Wake Forest 5-2 in the last meeting in Winston-Salem in 2024.
FSU is coming off two 4-0 victories defeating Georgia State and Alabama State. NC State most recently defeated No. 7 Cal and No. 21 Stanford on the road. Wake Forest fell to both Cal and Stanford, and faces No. 39 Miami on Friday.
No. 125 Eva Shaw entered the ITA singles rankings for the second time this season. Shaw is currently on a four-match winning streak and is undefeated in ACC play this season.
FSU has won five consecutive doubles points headlined by the new duo of Shaw and Tina Li. The pair is 4-0 on the year and has won each of its ACC doubles matches.
