Durish and Koenig Named Semifinalists for AVCA Player of the Year

TALLAHASSEE – Alexis Durish and Audrey Koenig have been named semifinalists for the 2026 AVCA National Collegiate Beach Player of the Year Award, being two of eight athletes named across six programs.
This season the duo has recorded 14 ranked wins on the first court, going undefeated and taking down multiple top-10 teams such as No. 3 USC, No. 6 TCU and No. 9 Cal. Koenig is 22-0 in 2026, including a 21-0 mark when playing with Durish. Durish is 25-0 this year.
Last season, the pair went 24-9 on court one, earning All American and All Conference honors along with CCSA co-Pair of the Year.
Since their pairing on February 27, the duo has outscored opponents by more than 200 points and managed 20 consecutive set wins. Most recently, Durish and Koenig earned the Noles' 25th win by defeating No. 8 LMU in a three-set showdown to clinch the match.
