GULF SHORES, ALABAMA – Florida State beach volleyball's Alexis Durish (33-0) and Audrey Koenig (30-0) have been named finalists for the 2026 AVCA Player of the Year award, alongside UCLA's Maggie Boyd and Sally Perez.

Durish has managed an undefeated season on court one, going 33-0 while putting up 20 wins against ranked opponents. The senior from Venice, Florida, has reached 117 wins in the garnet and gold and has the highest win streak of any Seminole beach volleyball player (33).

Koenig, a native of Wesley Chapel, Florida, has accumulated 30 wins and recorded zero losses. Koenig and Durish have combined for a 29-0 record this season and Koenig has earned 95 wins during her tenure at FSU.

Durish and Koenig have the two longest winning streaks individually in Florida State history, and the 29-match win streak together broke a 12-year record held by Aurora Davis and new Florida State Athletics Hall of Famer Jace Pardon.

Over the past two seasons, Durish and Koenig have won 53 matches, a school record for a duo in NCAA competition. Durish (67) and Koenig (61) rank second and third in FSU history in career wins on court one.

The AVCA will name the 2026 Player of the Year during the Championship Banquet on Thursday, April 30.
