Baseball Sets Another Team GPA Record

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – For the second consecutive semester, the Florida State baseball team set a team GPA record, with its best spring semester on record.
The Seminoles earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.216 in the 2026 spring semester.
Thirty players had a GPA of 3.0 or better, including 10 on the Dean's List with a semester GPA of 3.50 or better and one, junior Wes Mendes, on the President's List with a 4.0 this term.
The 10 named to the Dean's List are senior Clancy Marsh, redshirt junior Kevin Mebil, juniors Brayden Dowd, Chris Knier, Bryson Moore, Brodie Purcell and Cooper Whited, redshirt sophomore Brody DeLamielleure and freshmen Will Bavaro and Charlie Buckles.
Additionally, three graduate students earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher, led by Eli Putnam with a 4.0 along with Nathan Cmeyla and Jacob Marlowe.
