Bigham, Edero lead No. 23 Noles in Second Round of NCAA Regionals

COLUMBUS, Ohio -Â The No. 23 Florida State men's golf team sits in sixth place at the 2026 NCAA Columbus Regional after the second round of play on Tuesday, at the Ohio State Golf Club Scarlet Course.

The Seminoles were led by Wilmer Edero and Jack Bigham in the second round on Tuesday, each carding rounds of 3-over, 74.  Edero matched his effort from round one and sits tied for 27th place at 6-over, 148. Bigham moved up to 33rd place and is at 7-over, 149.

Patrick McCann added a round of 4-over 75 and is also even with Bigham for the tournament.

Carson Brewer and Jack Whaley were 5-over, 76 on the day and are tied for 20th place at 5-over, 147.

Florida State shot 15-over, 299 in the second round and sits at 21-over, 589. FSU holds a one-stroke lead over Illinois State in seventh place and is one stroke behind No. 24 Long Beach State in fifth and six behind No. 12 Arizona State in fourth. The Seminoles will begin the third and final round on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. from the 10th hole and will be paired with the Sharks and Sun Devils.

The top five teams following the final round will advance to the 2026 NCAA Men's Golf Championship, which will be held at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa, May 29-June 3.
