Three Seminoles Collect All-America Honors

EUGENE, Ore. – The Florida State men's outdoor track and field team concluded the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Friday at Hayward Field with Shamar Reid, Andre Korbmacher and Zach Extine receiving All-America nods.
Reid earned his first NCAA Division I first-team All-America honors after placing sixth in the discus with a mark of 62.30 meters, tying the highest finish in the event since Milton Ingraham in 2023. Reid ended his season as Florida State's record holder in the event with a personal best of 65.87 meters that was set at the ACC Championship to take the crown.
Korbmacher and Extine became the first duo in program history to earn All-America honors at the same outdoor championship in the men's 110 hurdles. Korbmacher secured first-team All-America recognition for the first time in his career, finishing seventh with a time of 13.30. Extine concluded his collegiate career with second-team All-America honors, placing ninth in 13.59.
The women's team will begin competition on Saturday with the women's 4x100-meter relay at 8:02 p.m. in addition to Kayla Pinkard in the triple jump at 8:10 p.m. and Shenese Walker in the 100 at 8:52 p.m. Expanded coverage throughout the meet can also be found on the ESPN family of networks and can be accessed at Seminoles.com.
