TALLAHASSEE – Florida State men's basketball guard Kam Taylor has been invited to participate in the Jayson Tatum Elite Camp, hosted by Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum, over the next four days in Las Vegas.

Taylor is among a select group of collegiate players who will take part in the elite development camp, led by Tatum and some of basketball's top instructors.

Taylor joins the Seminoles after two standout seasons at UNC Asheville.  As a sophomore in 2025-26, the Charlotte, North Carolina native earned First Team All-Big South honors after leading the conference with 18.9 points per game while averaging a league-best 34:42 minutes per contest.  He also led the Bulldogs with 97 assists, ranked second on the team with 161 rebounds and 21 blocks, and finished third with 27 steals while starting 30 of 32 games.

Taylor made an immediate impact as a freshman in 2024-25, earning All-Big South Freshman Team honors after appearing in all 31 games.  He averaged 8.9 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while serving as UNC Asheville's sixth man.

Tatum was selected by the Boston Celtics with the No. 3 overall pick in the first round of the 2017 NBA Draft.  A six-time NBA All-Star and four-time First Team All-NBA selection, Tatum helped lead the Celtics to the 2024 NBA Championship and earned Olympic gold medals with Team USA at both the 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games.
