Kyleene Filimaua Named to Preseason All-ACC Team

TALLAHASSEE - Florida State volleyball outside hitter Kyleene Filimaua was named to the Preseason All-ACC Team on Thursday afternoon. FSU was one of seven teams represented on the 18-player team.
Filimaua had one of the best individual seasons in school history in 2025. The Second Team All-ACC honoree tallied 443 kills and 4.35 points per set last season. Both numbers ranked in the top 10 in school history. Filimaua tallied 13 double-doubles and was second on the team with 270 digs. Filimaua was also terrific behind the service line as she led the team with 42 aces. Filimaua played in every single set for the Noles and recorded double-digit kills in 20 out of the 29 matches last season.
Filimaua has been a three-year starter for the Noles and has done a little bit of everything. In her career, Filimaua has recorded over 600 kills, 800 digs, 200 assists and 100 aces for the Garnet and Gold in 92 career matches.
The Seminoles will begin its season with the Garnet and Gold Scrimmage on August 21 at 6 p.m. at Tully Gym.
