No. 20 Noles Close Out OFCC/Olympia Fields on Saturday

OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. -- The No. 20 Florida State men's golf team closed out the OFCC/Fighting Illini Invitational on Saturday at Olympia Fields Country Club.

After playing 36 holes on Friday due to expected weather in the area, the Seminoles entered the day at 6-under. The third round began at 1:45 p.m. ET with a shotgun start after 20 groups concluded their second round.

Shawn Coultoff led the day, turning in the best score of the tournament for Florida State, shooting 3-under 67 behind a bogey-free round. His 67 matched his career-low, which he carded in his debut at the Folds of Honor Collegiate earlier this month.

Tyler Weaver, Wilmer Edero and Jack Whaley all finished the tournament tied at even par, 210. Weaver was 1-over 71 on the round with four birdies, while Edero finished at 2-over 72 with two birdies.

Nils-Levi Bock tied his opening round score from Friday, shooting 1-over 71.

The Seminoles carded 1-over 281 on Saturday to finish the tournament at 5-under 835.

Florida State will be back in action at the Hamptons Intercollegiate, which will run from Oct. 5-6 at the Maidstone Club in East Hampton, New York.
