LAHINCH, Ireland – Florida State men's golf seniors Tyler Weaver and Jack Whaley will represent Great Britain and Ireland at the Walker Cup, running from Sept. 5-6 at the Lahinch Golf Club in Ireland.

Weaver will pair with Connor Graham in the morning foursomes on Saturday, facing Jay Leng Jr. and Kihei Akina from the United States, beginning at 3:30 a.m.  Eight afternoon singles matches will take place at 9 a.m.  Lineups for singles are still to be announced.

On Sunday, four foursome matches will begin at 3 a.m. followed by 10 afternoon singles matches at 8:30 a.m.

Live scores, tee times and draw information can be found on the R&A website. Coverage will air on the Golf Channel.

Weaver, ranks third in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, returns to the Walker Cup looking to lead GB&I to its first victory over the United States since 2015. In 2025, Weaver secured the opening point along with Graham behind a 3&1 win over Jackson Koivun and Tommy Morrison. The USA would win the Walker Cup, 17-9, which was held at Cypress Point in Pebble Beach California.

Whaley is one of four players to earn their debut, after becoming just the third Englishman in history to win the Havemeyer Trophy after defeating Leng Jr. 4&3  at the U.S. Amateur Championship in August.  The victory propelled him up the WAGR rankings, where he is ranked 45th.
