Noles In Second At Brickyard

Florida State junior Brooks Kopeka shot a five under par 67 and senior Drew Kittleson shot a three under par 69 and the Seminole men’s golf team finished with the best team score of the second round to help move the Seminoles into a tie for second place in the team standings with one round remaining to play in the Brickyard Invitational at the Brickyard Golf Course. Florida State moved from 11th place after the first round of the event into a tie for second place and will begin play in the final round only nine strokes behind Georgia in the race for the team title.
Georgia, with three players in the top three of the individual standings, is in first place in the team standings after two rounds of play. The Bulldog’s Russell Henley carded a six under par 66 in the second round and is in first place in the individual standings. Florida State’s Koepka is in a tie for third place in the individual standings and is only two strokes behind Henley in the race for the individual championship.
