Sandercock has thrown 21 straight scoreless innings dating back to March 26 against Boston College. Friday’s complete seven-inning game against Duke was her fifth, seven-inning complete game this season.
The Florida State pitching staff combined to throw 38.1 consecutive innings without allowing a run before Sunday’s 4-3 win against the Blue Devils. Sandercock is leading the way for the FSU pitching staff with a 14-1 record and a 1.29 ERA.
Sandercock is FSU’s first conference player of the week this season and this honor is the first career ACC Pitcher of the Week honor of her career.
