TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State signee Michael Toppi will compete at the Eastbay Cross Country Championships Saturday afternoon at Balboa Park in San Diego, Calif. Toppi is scheduled to run at 1 p.m. Results of the race can be found here.

Following the four regional races, Toppi holds the 11th-best time out of the field of 40. Toppi also helped Viera High School to its first state cross country championship in school history last month at Apalachee Regional Park. Toppi finished second with a time of 15:17.60.
“Qualifying for this event means that I have put in the work, and I have trusted the process all the way,” Toppi said. “I feel that I will be able to learn how to adapt and compete against other nationally ranked competitors.”
