Soccer Earns 2019-20 United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award Winner

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – United Soccer Coaches announced on Thursday the Team Academic Award winners at the high school and collegiate levels to recognize exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2019-20 academic year.

College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the 2019-20 academic year.

This is the 12th time that Florida State has earned the Team Academic Award since 2007.

A total of 889 college teams (333 men, 556 women) earned the Team Academic Award, including 172 schools who had both their men’s and women’s programs recognized.

Florida State is off this week before they are back on the pitch at Virginia Tech at 8 pm on Thursday, October 1. The Game will be broadcast live on the ACC Network.
