Played in all 13 games as a true freshman with two starts…saw action for the Seminoles in FSU’s victory over West Virginia in the Gator Bowl…finished the season with 25 total tackles, including 13 solo and 12 assisted…recorded four tackles for loss and one sack to go along with two forced fumbles.

Earned first team Big Bend honors in baseball as a junior and a senior …received first team All-State accolades as a senior…nearly won the Big Bend triple crown as a junior hitting .589 with 13 home run…named the 2008-09 Gatorade Player of the Year in football in the state of Florida…earned Big Bend first team honors as a senior…honored as a USA Today and Under Armour All-American…rated as a five-star football prospect according to Rivals and Scout.com… drafted in the 30th round by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2009 MLB Draft.
