Swam his best time in the 200 free at 1:34.88 and placed 18th at the ACC Championships…was ninth in the 1650 free (15:12.96) and 19th in the 500 free (4:20.19)…was also a part of the 800 free relay that took sixth… placed third in the 200 back (1:50.84) and fourth in the 200 free (1:39.01) vs. Tampa…placed 13th in the 200 free (1:36.44), 15th in the 1650 free (15:18.66), and 17th in the 500 free (4:21.15) at the Georgia Tech Invitational…finished third in the 200 free (1:42.23) against Florida Southern…placed third in the 500 free (4:31.74) and fourth in the 1000 free (9:27.57) against Georgia Tech…began the season with a fifth-place finish in the 500 free (4:32.01) and seventh-place finish in the 1000 free (9:31.48) against Auburn

All-ACC Academic Team and CSCAA Scholar All-American...finished 41st in the 200 free (1:35.94) 35th in the 1650 free (15:20.97) and 45th in the 500 free (4:21.12) at the NCAA Championships… finished fifth in the 1650 free behind a personal best of 14:57.82 at the ACC Championships…also took 12th in the 500 free (4:19.40) after swimming his best in prelims at 4:18.59 and was 18th in the 200 free with a lifetime best of 1:35.43… set a Morcom Aquatics Center record in the 1650 free (15:29.19) against LSU…finished third in the 200 free (1:39.57) fifth in the 100 free (45.75) against Tampa…took third in the 1000 free (9:23.31) and fourth in the 500 free (4:35.41) against No. 22 Auburn….finished second in the 200 free (1:41.96) against Gardner-Webb…placed 11th in the 200 free (1:37.24) and was fourth in the 1650 free (15:16.82) at the Georgia Invite…also the Noles to a third place finish in the 800 free relay (1:36.35)…was the runner up in both the 1000 free (9:17.55) and 500 free (4:29.69) against TCU…won the 1000 free (9:25.31) and competed in the 500 free (4:41.52) against RV Georgia Tech to start his collegiate career

HIGH SCHOOL
Represented Canada at Best Fest Open Water Festival in April of 2019 as well as the UANA Pan American Open Water Championships in August of 2019… represented Ontario at the 2017 Canada Games and at the 2019 Barbados Open Water Festival… a two-time recipient of the Team Aquatic Supplies Regional Student Athlete Scholarship (2018, 2019)… is a provincial record holder in the 800  SCM free and 1500 SCM free for 16-17 year old boys

PERSONAL
Born June 26, 2002…son of Margaret and Mark Quirie… a Silver Award Recipient in 2019 (90% average) and a four-year member of the Honour Roll (2016-2020)…plays the saxophone…brother swam for NJIT from 2014-18 and was named the CCSA Scholar Athlete of the Year as a senior… sister swam for UMASS from 2012-16 and was awarded the A-10 Postgraduate Scholarship…a member of the Nepean Kanata Barracudas where he is coached by Scott Faithfull…plans to major in chemical engineering
