Prior to joining FSU, Karan had been coaching Daniel Evans, ATP World high No.22 and former Great British number 1. This puts Karan as one of the youngest ATP coaches currently on tour.
Karan works to bring the best out of every player by personally bringing the energy and enthusiasm needed for them to feed off when they may be physically struggling during training. His coaching style is based on one nonnegotiable, ‘the player must give their 100% each and every day’. Karan pairs his knowledge and coaching style to develop each and every player to the best they can become.
Having worked with a wide spectrum of players from young to old with differing levels of ability, at times working under pressure and tight deadlines, Karan has demonstrated excellent planning, organizational, communication and motivational skills. His experience working with various levels of tennis players allows him to adapt his teaching methods and vocabulary to suit each individual to develop and reach their very best each and every day.
Karan is committed to continual personal development, which is one of the main reasons why he joined the FSU Men’s Coaching Team. Karan seeks to share his knowledge and expertise whilst working with and developing some of the best NCAA tennis players in the US. Karan is passionate about helping them move into the professional game in the best possible shape technically, tactically, mentally and physically. Karan is extremely enthusiastic and driven. He always brings that passion to the court. Whilst acting with integrity and professionalism in his role, Karan hopes to be an example to others.
