Prep:
Ambrose enrolled at Purdue University in the spring on 2014 and took a redshirt for the season. She was a Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 selection and PrepVolleyball.com’s No. 20 Senior Ace in 2013, while capturing an Under Armour first team All-America selection.
Ambrose was an outside hitter for the Orlando Volleyball Academy which won the AAU National Championship in 2011.
A native of Winter Park, Fla., Ambrose set the Winter Park High School record for kills in a season as a senior while earning a first team all-central Florida accolades as a junior, helping her team to a state runner-up finish. She also set the school record for kills in a match at 42. Ambrose was also the runner-up for the Class 8A Player of the Year award.
Ambrose will enroll for her redshirt sophomore season in January with plans to major in psychology.
