ON SKRABANEK:
An experienced volleyball player, Skrabanek played indoor volleyball for eight years and beach volleyball for four years prior to joining the nationally ranked Florida State beach volleyball team in August 2024. Skrabanek was named to the All-State team and an all-star in her junior year after finishing second overall in the state. She went undefeated in district play two years in a row. Skrabanek also won a BVNE national championship.
PERSONAL:
Born January 4, 2006…Skylar is the daughter of Angela and Neil Skrabanek… her mother, an occupational therapist, played high school volleyball and attended St. Agnes School for college… her father, an occupational therapist, played football and baseball in high school, played baseball at Texas State… her brother, Tyler, plays quarterback in Sugar Land, Texas…. Skrabanek enjoys line dancing, reading and writing poetry and short stories, swing dancing, playing piano, and modeling… major is athletic training.
