Earned All-American Second Team Honors from the WGCA and All-American Third Team Honors from Golfweek in 2022…a two-time All-ACC selection in both 2022 and 2023 during her stellar career…earned her Bachelor’s Degree Sport Management on April 30, 2022 from Florida State University and will work on a second Bachelor’s Degree in Economics during the 2022-23 academic year…the 2022 ACC Scholar-Athlete of the year – the first Florida State golfer to be named the ACC Scholar-Athlete…finished her career ranked ninth in school history with a 73.53 stroke average…the first golfer in school history to play in five seasons…one of 12 golfers in school history who totaled 9,000 or more career strokes and ranked second in school history in total career strokes behind only Lydia Gumm’s Advanced to Stage II of LPGA Qualifying School with a stellar performance in Stage I at the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif…carded scores of 68-70-72-70 for a four round total of 8 under par 280…below par in three of her four rounds…totaled 18 birdies in her four rounds of play…following a birdie on her second hole of her first round, she was never above par during the course of her 72 holes and four rounds played…played in Stage II of Q School at the Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Fla…the dates of Stage II of Q-School were adjusted to November after Hurricane Ian made its way through southwest Florida…finished with scores of 74-73-78-79 for a four-round total of 16 over par 304…her final score did not allow her to qualify for further rounds of Q-School…
SUMMER 2022
Helped lead England in the 2022 European Ladies Team Championships at the Conwy Golf Club in Wales (July 5-7)…advanced to the round of 16 in match play at the R&A Women’s Amateur (formerly known as the British Women’s Amateur) at Hunstanton in England…she is a member of the club as it is located near her hometown in Norfolk, England…she is the current course record-holder after carding a six-under 69 during a club competition on August 12, 2020…was in a tie for second place after the first round of play with a 4 under par score of 69…her first round score included four birdies and one eagle…advanced to match play as she finished in a tie for 15th place in stroke play with scores of 73-71 for a 2 under par score of 144…defeated Rosie Belsham of Baylor in the first round of match play, 2&1…defeated Carolina Melgrati of Arizona, 3&2, in the morning matches on June 23 to advance to the round of 16…fell to Italy’s Emilie Alba Paltrinieri in the afternoon matches on June 23 (round of 16) by a 3&1 margin…in a tie for eighth place in the individual standings of the European Ladies Team Championships with a first round score of 73…helped lead England into a tie for second place in the team standings after the first round of the European Ladies…a second round score of 76 and a two-round total of 149 had her in a tie for seventh in the individual standings and helped move England into first place in the team standings…England was the top seed after stroke play and heading into match play…led England past Wales, 6.5-0.5, in the quarterfinals of match play on July 7…defeated Kath O’Connor of Wales, 3&2, in singles play to gain her first point of England’s match against Wales…earned a 7&5 victory over Sweden’s Andrea Lignell (Ole Miss) in her singles match in the semifinals of the European Ladies…her win helped England defeat Sweden, 4.5-2.5, to advance England to the title match of the 2022 European Ladies Team Championship against Italy on July 9…paired with Florida State teammate Charlotte Heath in doubles competition against Italy’s Anna Zanusso (Denver) and Alessandra Fanali (Arizona State) and fell, 2&1, in doubles action to begin finals play at the European Ladies…defeated Italy’s Carolina Melgrati (Arizona) by a 3&2 score to help England win the team title at the 2022 European Ladies Team Championships.
SUMMER 2022 ARNOLD PALMER CUP
Helped the International Team to a victory over the U.S. Team in the 2022 Arnold Palmer Cup at the at the Golf Club de Geneve, in Vandoeuvres, Switzerland (July 1-3)…she finished with a 2-1-1 record in her first Arnold Palmer Cup appearance…she was selected to participate in the Palmer Cup by the International Team committee…was joined by Florida State’s men’s golfer Frederik Kjettrup on the prestigious team which will face an American team in the annual event…the third Florida State women’s player to represent the Seminoles’ program in the Palmer Cup…the Seminoles have also been represented by Frida Kinhult (2019) and Beatrice Wallin (2021) in the event…helped the International Team to a 6.5-5.5 lead after the first day of play as she played with Archie Davies (East Tennessee State/England) against Nick Gabrelcik and Rachel Heck of the United States in the Friday morning Mixed Four-Ball competition…the team of Williamson and Davis gained a 4&2 win to help Team International to a their fifth point of the day and a 5-all tie in the team standings…Williamson totaled a 1-0 record on the first day of competition…upped her record to 2-0, as Williamson and Lorna McClymont (Scotland) defeated Anna Morgan and Latanna Stone of the United States, 5&4, in Foursome Pairings in round two on Saturday morning…helped give the International Team a 13-11 lead after two rounds…played with Davies against Antonia Malate and Dylan Menante of the United States in the round three Mixed Foursome Pairings on Saturday afternoon and fell, 2UP…totaled a 2-1 record after the first two days of competition…following the Saturday afternoon matches, the International Team and the USA were tied at 18-18…finished tied with Rose Zhang (Stanford/USA) on the final day in singles play…she won the final two holes of her match with two birdies to gain half a point and helped the International Team to the victory in the team competition…she was two holes down with three to play and rallied to earn the tie against the 2022 NCAA Champion and the No. 1 ranked player in the WAGR…Team International won the competition by a 33-27 margin…finished with a 2-1-1 record in the competition.
SUMMER 2022 CURTIS CUP
Played as a member of the Great Britain & Ireland Team in the 2022 Curtis Cup at the famed Merion Golf Club in Merion, Pa…one of eight members of the team who faced the United States in the three-day event, with foursomes and fourball matches on the first two days and singles matches on the final day…made her first appearance in the bi-annual event…made her Curtis Cup debut with Florida State teammate Charlotte Heath against Rose Zhang and Rachel Heck of the USA and Stanford University in the Friday Foursomes…Williamson and Heath fell to Zhang and Heck by a 4&2 score…the U.S. Squad led the team score by a 5-1 margin after the first day of play…played with Emily Price in the Saturday Foursomes and fell to Amari Avery and Rachel Kuehn of the USA by a 2Up score…The USA led the competition by an 8.5-3.5 score after the second of three days of play at the Curtis Cup…fell to Megha Ganne of the USA, 2&1 in the Sunday Singles in her final match of the competition…the USA won the championship by a 15.5-4.5 margin for its third consecutive win in the series.
SPRING 2022 (SEASON AVERAGE: 72.82 / LOW ROUND: 68)

Born June 23, 2000…Amelia is the daughter of Tracey and Mark Williamson…her dad was the most successful team captain of the Norfolk Men’s Golf team and played for nearly 30 years as a former scratch golfer still playing off a one handicap now…Tracey, her mum, is an accomplished scratch golfer and is the multiple winner of the Norfolk County golf championships, in addition to seven second place finishes…her home golf course is Royal Cromer…Amelia and Tracey paired together to win the Royal Mid Surrey Mothers and Daughters’, a 27-hole foursomes competition in 2016, 2017 and 2018…a member of the British record holding team for the fastest 100,000 meter rowing time as well as being an avid skier who has participated in the sport since age three…enjoys cooking…selected Florida State over Vanderbilt…earned her first Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Florida State in 2022 and is currently pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in Economics.
