Ryan Poché is in his first season as head video analyst and in his third season overall with the Florida State soccer program in 2026.
Now head video analyst, Poché began with the program as a part-time analyst and manager in 2024. As his role expanded during the last two years, he helped the team win its fifth national championship in 2025.
“Being able to keep Ryan at FSU is critical for our program moving forward,” Pensky said. “He bleeds garnet and gold and would literally take the shirt off his back for our players. Ryan’s work provides massive value to our players individually, and to our team’s collective process. Additionally, the tireless work he does behind the scenes in recruitment and scouting is invaluable.”
“As a Tallahassee native and longtime supporter of the program, I am so incredibly excited for the opportunity to continue my work here at with the Florida State soccer team,” Poché said. “Thank you so much to the current and former staff and players for being such amazing individuals on and off the pitch, and also for their unending drive and hunger to continue the storied legacy our program has written. Additionally, a huge thank you to Coach Pensky for his continued trust in me to serve the program, and for always being so incredibly open, kind and supportive throughout my time here. Coach, our staff and our players’ constant receptiveness to the data and analytics side of sports is incredibly special for someone in my role, and I cannot wait to chase star No. 6 with these amazing people!”
Since beginning with the team as an intern in 2024, Poché’s main responsibilities have included data analytics and film analysis and breakdown. He has assisted in opponent scouting, recruitment and day-to-day operations.
A native of Tallahassee, Poché earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida State in 2023 and his masters in 2025, both in sport management.
