Earned two straight-set victories in singles over Bethune-Cookman and Mercer...Defeated Florida A&M 6-1 in doubles with partner Laura Putz...Earned a road win defeating Charleston Southern 6-1 in doubles with partner Maria Juliana Parra Romero.
FALL 2024
She began her fall 2024 season with a 6-4, 2-6, 1-0 (5) win over Pragnya Kumar of Georgia State in the qualifying singles round of 32 at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships...Paired with Tina Li at the UNF Invitational, Li and Cricchio earned a 6-1 win over Hannah Chambers and Angelina Blinova of Southern Mississippi in the quarterfinals of the Flight 2 doubles...The duo continued their dominance with a 6-4 win over Magdalena Swierzynska and Marina Fuduric of Indiana in the semifinals and finished the weekend with a 6-2 win over Lucia Aranda and Prisca Abbas of Charlotte to claim the Flight 2 doubles title...Cricchio earned two singles wins at the UNF Invitational as she defeated Angelina Blinova of Southern Mississippi 7-5, 6-4 and Linda Ziets Segura of Virginia Tech. SPRING 2024
Won four total matches in the 2024 spring season... defeated Avery Sager and Valeria Centeno 6-4 at No. 3 doubles with Laura Putz to clinch the doubles point and help the Seminoles advance to the second round of the NCAA tournament...clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 win against Gabrielle Broadfoot and Abigail Rencheli at No. 3 doubles with Laura Putz in route of a 5-2 victory against No. 15 NC State...won 7-5 against Krystal Blanch and Sankavi Gownder at No. 3 doubles with Laura Putz to help Florida State earn the 5-2 win over No. 31 Wake Forest...defeated Sara Radojevic and Pragnya Kumar of Georgia State 6-0 with Kristyna Lavickova at No. 3 doubles.FALL 2023
Earned seven total victories in the 2023 Fall season (five in singles and two in doubles)...defeated Zali Morris of Stetson University (5-7, 6-4, 6-3)... won (7-5, 4-6, 7-6(5)) over Amber McGinnis of FAU in the Round of 16 in the Open Singles qualifying at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships...defeated Pilar Astigarragara Harper of Stetson (6-1, 6-4) and Alisa Lyshko of UNF (6-4, 7-5) at the UNF Invite..won (6-3) over Ana Carmen Zamburek and Jillian Roa of Nebraska with Anna Arkadianou....won (6-2, 7-5) over Ireland Simme of USF and (6-4) over Ida Ferding and Jordana Ossa of FGCU with Kristyna Lavickova at the Bedford Cup.
SPRING 2023
Earned a 1-0 record in both singles and doubles play as the Seminoles reached the Round of 32 in the NCAA Championships and quarterfinals of the ACC Championship… her victories (6-0, 6-0) over Susan Salinas at No. 6 singles and (6-1) over Reagan Harris and Susan Salinas at No. 3 doubles with Kristyna Lavickova helped Florida State secure a 4-0 team win against FAMU.FALL 2022
Earned a 4-1 record at Four in The Fall Tournament at the University of Alabama…totaled a 2-1 record in singles play and a 2-0 record in doubles play at Alabama…earned her first collegiate singles victory with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Sydney Orefice of Alabama on the second day of the Four in the Fall Tournament…defeated Ansley Cheshire of Alabama (6-2, 6-3) for her second career victory…teamed with Alice Amendola to defeat Rebeka Kern and Sydney Orefice of Alabama, 6-4, in doubles play on the second day of the event…totaled a 2-2 record with both wins coming in doubles play at the ITA Southeast Regional Championship in Atlanta…teamed with Olympe Lancelot to gain doubles wins over Jordana Ossa and Fanny Norin of Florida Gulf Coast (8-6) and Sofia Pinedo and Sophia Unger of Kennesaw State (8-6)…totaled a 4-2 mark in six matches during the Stetson Invitational…the Seminoles’ player of Day 2 with a singles victory over Magda Hezdrak of Stetson (7-5, 4-6 (10-6) and a doubles win with Kianah Motosono over Noa Cohen and Pilar Astigarraga Harper of Stetson (6-0)…closed out the tournament with a singles win over Valeria Audeeva of Troy State (6-0, 6-1) and a doubles win with Vic Allen over Kristina Kakaras and Olivia Elliott of Troy State (6-2)…earned a 4-2 record in six matches at the UNF Invitational…was a perfect 3-0 in doubles play with Eleni Loucks of Clemson…the ACC pair earned victories over Kendall Nash and Annabelle Davis of UNF (6-1), Ana Melio and Kallista Liu of Maryland (6-4) and Alice Amendola and Mila Saric of Florida State (6-2)…was 1-2 in singles play with a win over Kiana Makhtari of USF (6-3, 6-0).
BEFORE FLORIDA STATE
Graduated from Bucholz High School in 2022…served as the Bucholz Team Captain as a senior…the Central Florida Girls Player of the Year, and the Alachua County Girls’ Player of the Year as a senior…earned All-Area First-Team Honors by the Gainesville Sun as a senior in 2022…the Player of the Year by the Gainesville Sun as a junior…the District 1-4A individual and doubles championship as she finished 8-0 in singles and 5-0 in doubles play as a junior…won the FSHAA 4A D2 District Championship in the state of Florida in both singles and doubles as a junior…defeated Lehigh’s Anastasia Sereda in the quarterfinals of the Class 4A State Championship as a junior, 3-6, 6-2, 13-11.
PERSONAL
Born March 9, 2004…Cade is the daughter of Stacey and Mike Cricchio…a sister, Kensie, is a redshirt sophomore tennis player at William & Mary…successfully completed seven Advance Placement courses and was a member of the Junior National Honor Society…began playing tennis when she was four years old…enjoys white water rafting and hiking…wants to continue using leadership skills to guide and direct children while helping them make better decisions regarding time and money management, and social skills development…loves to work with children, especially teaching them tennis at a young age…an officer in the local Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints…chose to play at Florida State after receiving interest from Virginia, Kentucky, Davidson, and William & Mary…major is Business Marketing with an emphasis on Marketing Fashion Design…has been accepted into the Business Entrepreneurship program in the Business School at Florida State…wants to continue her education and earn her Master’s Degree in Business Administration…her dream is to work for a fashion magazine as a marketer.
