Kennedy arrives at Florida State following a standout junior career that included a Top 500 ITF junior ranking and national recognition as one of the nation's top recruits. She was ranked as high as No. 3 in the USTA Girls' 18 national rankings and No. 2 in the Girls' 16 rankings, while also earning the No. 6 spot in the TennisRecruiting.net Class of 2026 rankings. Kennedy's junior résumé features titles at the PTT Summer Slam in Madison, the ITF J60 Medford singles championship and the ITF J100 Chestertown doubles championship, along with two USTA Level 2 Girls' 18 singles titles. She also earned a silver ball in Girls' 16 doubles at the USTA Indoor National Championships and a bronze ball in Girls' 18 doubles at the USTA Winter National Championships. A two-time Colorado Tennis Sportswoman of the Year (2024, 2025), Kennedy was an Honor Roll student throughout all four years of high school.
