Stefan McKinney joined Florida State University’s staff as an assistant athletic trainer in January 2024.
McKinney worked as an assistant athletic trainer at Florida Atlantic University where he worked with the men's and women's swimming and diving. Teams.
McKinney began his career as an athletic trainer at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 2019. He worked with the football, women’s basketball, men’s basketball and women’s soccer teams.
McKinney has earned certifications in dry needling 1&2, Graston Technique 1&2, intravenous therapy, basic suture, EKG, and CPR/AED.
McKinney graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with an athletic training degree in 2019. He earned his Masters of Education in adult education management and administration from Northwestern Oklahoma State in December of 2020.
