She earned first team all-region honors as well as second team all-conference honors in 2023. Lambert has recorded over 1,000 digs for Horizon High School and has also recorded over 140 aces in her high school career.

Ava is the daughter of Mike and Kim Lambert and has an older sister Lexi who is a setter at Biola University.
