Aidan Frein, a native of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, serves as a graduate assistant for the Florida State men’s basketball program.

Frein is a graduate of Florida State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. During his time at Florida State, he spent three seasons as a student manager under former head coach Leonard Hamilton before joining head coach Luke Loucks’ first staff as a graduate assistant.

In his current role, Frein assists with film breakdown and analysis, opponent scouting, practice preparation, game-day operations, and daily program logistics. He also tracks live game data and analyzes play results to support in-game adjustments and strategic decisions.

Working alongside coaches, players, and support staff within the program has helped shape his professional development. He also values the opportunity to learn under Coach Loucks, whose leadership and approach to the game have helped expand his understanding of basketball and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
