FSU Lacrosse Lands 11 on All-ACC Academic Team

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State women's lacrosse team placed 11 student-athletes on the 2025-26 All-ACC Academic Team, the ACC announced Thursday afternoon. The Seminoles are represented by three freshmen, five sophomores, two juniors and one senior.
To be eligible for the All-ACC Academic Team, student-athletes must have completed at least one full academic year at their institution, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher, earn a 3.00 GPA or better over their most recent two semesters (or three quarters), and compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
Freshmen Amelia Brite, Charlise Cox and Brynn Perkins each earned their first collegiate academic honor after contributing significantly during FSU's inaugural season. The trio combined for 43 appearances and 20 starts while totaling 32 points, 26 goals, and five multi-goal performances.
Sophomores Sienna Cassella, Summer Harrell, Meg Kenny, Julia Ward and Lydia Ward were also recognized after serving as key contributors for the Seminoles. Kenny led Florida State with 43 points on 30 goals and 13 assists, while Harrell added 37 points, including 26 goals and 11 assists. Lydia Ward ranked third on the team with 26 points behind 18 goals and eight assists.
Cassella appeared in 15 games with 11 starts, recording two goals, two assists, 16 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers. Julia Ward logged 532 minutes in goal, finishing the season with 70 saves.
Juniors Mary Grace Tibbs and Lexi Smalline rounded out the underclassmen honorees after appearing in a combined 21 games during the 2026 season. Tibbs made four starts and finished second on the team with 13 caused turnovers.
Senior Faith Wooters earned her third career All-ACC Academic Team selection after previously receiving the honor in 2023 and 2024. Wooters led the Seminoles with 58 draw controls in 2026.
