    Chief of Staff / Special Assistant to the Head Coach
Cayla Polsky joined the Florida State women’s basketball staff as a special assistant to the head coach in June of 2024.
 
Polsky works directly with head coach Brooke Wyckoff, managing her day-to-day operations. She also facilitates student-athlete scheduling with internal and external staff and oversees all student managers.  Polsky also assists with various duties while the team and coaches are on the road and carries count office administrative duties. 

Prior to Polsky’s elevation to the staff, she served as the head manager for just over two seasons where she would assist with team workouts, travel and recruiting operations while supervising all student managers throughout the week and on gamedays.  She also worked on staff at the Donald L Tucker Civic Center until November of 2022, assisting fans with their gameday and event experience.
 
Outside of Florida State, Polsky worked for Sponsorship Scout as an intern in 2021, where she learned more about sponsorship and how to analyze and utilize data to maximize top advertising opportunities.
 
Polsky earned a master’s degree in Sport Management in May of 2024 from Florida State after securing her bachelor's degree in 2022, with a minor in business.   As a member of Florida State’s Sport Management Student Association, Polsky was selected to participate in the Women’s College Softball World Series in 2021, assisting with the tournament operation.
 
A native of Lake Worth, Florida, Polsky was a member of the Sigma Delta Tau Sorority, where she served as the intramural sports chair, spirit chair and was on the new member committee.  She volunteered at Dance Marathon in 2020 and was also a part of Prevent Child Abuse America in Tallahassee for almost four years.  
 
Polsky graduated from Park Vista Community High School where she was a member of the basketball team.  She also served a sports camp counselor for Brighthouse Day Camp for six summers, starting in 2016.
