D'Mitri Emmanuel
- Title:
- Graduate Assistant (Defense)
D’Mitri Emmanuel, a two-year starter on Florida State’s offensive line, is in his second season working on FSU’s coaching staff in 2025 and first as a graduate assistant with the defensive line.
Emmanuel started all 27 games over his two seasons and helped Florida State put together a 23-4 record while leading the ACC in scoring offense both seasons. He began his collegiate playing career at Charlotte and appeared in 52 total games with 51 starts while earning all-conference honors three times.
Emmanuel was a first-team All-ACC selection and fourth-team All-American at guard his senior year when Florida State won the program’s 16th conference championship behind an undefeated regular season. The Seminoles led the conference in scoring offense, total touchdowns, rushing touchdowns, yards per completion, fewest interceptions thrown and fewest turnovers. Emmanuel helped protect ACC Player of the Year and ACC Offensive Player of the Year Jordan Travis, who led the conference in passing efficiency, yards per pass attempts and fewest interceptions while finishing fifth in the Heisman Trophy voting.
After starting 24 consecutive games from 2019-21 at Charlotte, Emmanuel transferred to Florida State for the 2022 season and quickly established himself as a staple in the starting lineup. That year, he earned third-team all-conference honors as he helped block for an offense that led the nation with an average of 7.46 plays of at least 20 yards per game and tied for the national lead with eight touchdown drives of at least 90 yards. The Seminoles were one of two teams in the country that averaged at least 270 passing yards and 210 rushing yards per game that season.
Emmanuel earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Charlotte in 2022 and completed his bachelor’s degree in social science and interdisciplinary studies from Florida State in 2023.
