Jabril Durham

Jabril Durham, a native of DeSoto, Texas, serves as a graduate assistant for the Florida State men’s basketball program while pursuing a graduate certificate in Athletic Coaching at Florida State University.
Durham earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas, where he was a standout guard for the Razorbacks. In his senior season, he started all 32 games and averaged 6.4 assists per game, ranking second in the SEC and No. 12 nationally with 204 total assists. He became just the fourth player in program history to reach 200 assists in a single season and recorded five or more assists in 19 consecutive games—one of the longest such streaks in Arkansas history. Durham was also one of only eight players nationally to record seven double-digit assist games and led the SEC with a 3.6 assist-to-turnover ratio, ranking No. 5 in the country.
Following his collegiate career, Durham played professionally overseas for a decade, competing in nine different countries. He won a championship in Latvia and was named Finals MVP.
At Florida State, Durham’s responsibilities include player development, mentorship, film editing and analysis, assisting with the scout team during practice, and supporting on-campus recruiting and official visits. He works closely with the team’s point guards and contributes extensively to individual player development, including working with All-ACC guard Robert McCray V.
Durham values the strong culture within the Florida State program and the relationships built among players and staff. He credits head coach Luke Loucks for fostering an environment where staff members are empowered to grow while helping develop the players both on and off the court.
